Liquid Computing Appoints Tom Allen as Advisor

Technology Industry Veteran Joins Leading Fabric Computing Company

LOS ALTOS, Calif. - Liquid Computing Inc., the developer of LiquidIQ®, an innovative fabric computing system, today announced the appointment of Tom Allen, technology industry veteran, as an advisor. With his extensive business operations and executive management experience, Mr. Allen will help provide strategic business, marketing and technical counsel to Liquid Computing.

All aspects of the data center will undergo dramatic innovation and revolutionary change over the next 10 years," said Mr. Allen. Most recently, Mr. Allen was executive vice president and chief operating officer at @Road, Inc., a Mobile Resource Management solutions provider, during which time the company revenue grew from $1 million to more than $100 million. Prior to that, he served as vice president of network engineering at Visa International, where he led two teams through the successful building of two large fault tolerant Internet portal sites, and as manager of the Technology Integration Division of Edison International, where he oversaw TCP-IP networking and client/server computing development projects.

Mr. Allen holds an MBA from San Jose State University and a Certificate in Executive Management from the Peter F. Drucker Management Center at the Claremont Graduate University. He has also completed studies in the Stanford Business School Executive Education Program.

He joins current advisors Joe Roebuck and Dr. Iwao Toda, both 30-year computer industry veterans. Prior to joining Liquid, Mr. Roebuck served as vice president of worldwide sales for Sun Microsystems and is credited with building the sales force and increasing sales revenue from $9 million to $18 billion. Dr. Iwao Toda, an accomplished author and award-winning engineer, worked with Fujitsu for 12 years before joining Liquid. He also served as executive vice president of NTT, Research and Development.
