Liquid Computing to Unveil New Server Architecture at HPCS 2006
Ottawa, Canada– May 10, 2006 – Liquid Computing Corp., a developer of a new class of scalable server for High Performance Computing, will be participating in next week’s High Performance Computing Symposium (HPCS) being held at Memorial University in Newfoundland. At the event, Liquid Computing will unveil its new Interconnect Driven Server architecture in its presentation "Thirst No Longer" on May 15th at 3:30 p.m.
Mike Kemp, Liquid Computing’s CTO will be offering the first in depth introduction to the disruptive system architecture that is currently being rolled out to Beta customers around the world. This new system architecture is slated to change the fundamental form, function and economics of computing.
LiquidIQ is designed to eliminate communications and control bottlenecks pervasive in computing today. It offers unparalleled performance scalability and set of control characteristics that no other company has been able to offer. About Mike Kemp
Mike Kemp is the CTO and co-founder of Liquid Computing. Mike holds a joint honors degree in the disciplines of electrical engineering and computing science from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom, and has over 24 years of practical industry experience building large scale computer systems with Nortel and DARPA. He has a track record of innovation and bringing technology to market and he has published several papers on large scale switching and interconnect technologies. During his career, he has been responsible for the generation of intellectual property and associated patents in a variety of areas including multiprocessor systems, scalable communications and scalable high availability switching. Mike has developed many highly efficient interconnect and communications systems for a variety of products.

High Performance Computing Symposium is a multidisciplinary conference held annually at universities across Canada which focuses on new and exciting scientific and technical work involving High Performance Computing.
