Liquid Computing Delivers the Power of Fabric Computing to Broadband Services Provider the Abacus Data Exchange

The Abacus Data Exchange to Deploy LiquidIQ Infrastructure to Host and Deliver Broadband Applications to Customers Based on Flexibility, Cost Effectiveness and Disaster Recovery Benefits

Los Altos, CA - April 8, 2008 - Liquid Computing, Inc., developer of LiquidIQ, the industry-leading fabric computing architecture system, today announced that the Abacus Data Exchange, a Louisiana broadband services provider, will use the LiquidIQ system to host and deliver enterprise-class broadband applications over an advanced municipal-owned network in Lafayette, La. LiquidIQ will provide flexible data center infrastructure and direct connection to the fiber optic network for customers of the Abacus Data Exchange, delivering a cost effective, scalable architecture for robust broadband services and unparalleled competitive advantage for businesses.

"The Abacus Data Exchange is deploying the LiquidIQ converged computing solution to ensure the scalability and reliability needed to enable our customers to not just survive but to thrive during the impending Exaflood of the Information Age," said Abigail Ransonet, chief visionary officer of Abacus Marketing Resources, LLC, the parent company of the Abacus Data Exchange. "With LiquidIQ's innovative architecture, we can deliver a level of service beyond what large industry incumbents are achieving. LiquidIQ's ability to create an energy efficient, fully optimized and cost effective data center that scales very quickly is critical for the success of our business model, and our customers' as well."

LiquidIQ, the world's first fully converged communications and computing platform, provides true carrier grade performance to ensure service providers can deliver on their service level agreements (SLA) and quality of service (QoS) commitments. The system consolidates the management of data center resources processors, memory, networking and switching into one integrated "green" system, and allows them to be provisioned and deployed dynamically using simple software commands to meet real-time application or business requirements. This consolidated footprint yields substantial cost savings over traditional data center environments.

"LiquidIQ allows the Abacus Data Exchange to offer customers virtual dedicated servers, guaranteeing the service and performance levels that are necessary for accelerating customers' business growth," said Greg McElheran, president and CEO of Liquid Computing. "We look forward to supporting the Abacus Data Exchange's business goals and to continuing to deliver an unmatched solution that meets the unique requirements of today's advanced broadband services."

The Abacus Data Exchange will deploy a wide range of broadband services enabled by the enhanced modular capabilities of the LiquidIQ fabric computing system. These services include disaster recovery, virtual dedicated servers, utility computing, off-site backup, streaming media, high performance computing, and web hosting. Considered one of the world's top ten creative communities, Lafayette is deploying one of the nation's most advanced municipal fiber to the home (FTTH) networks and is positioned to deliver broadband connection to support burstable speeds of up to 100 Mbps for in-network data transfer.

The Abacus Data Exchange is taking delivery of and showcasing the LiquidIQ system at TechSouth 2008 and the International SESAME Exchange (ISE), before moving the system to the data exchange.
