Liquid Computing has been an early adopter of AMD HyperTransport technology, and a founding member of the Torenza Initiative. This technology enabled the company to rapidly accelerate the speed at which it could deliver the first release of LiquidIQ in the fall of 2006.
LiquidIQ directly connects AMD processors to its built-in interconnect. This helped remove the traditional PCI bottlenecks that are prevalent in today's high performance computing environments. This feature, combined with LiquidIQ's load-balanced network and software optimization, provide the sustained performance needed for scalable computing and a shared anywhere virtualization framework.
